Plaza Door Co., Inc manufactures three distinct series of sliding glass doors and our sliding screen with a host of features unique to Plaza Door. All Titan Series sliding glass doors meet or exceed Miami-Dade Building Code.

Sentry Series:
Residential/Interior

Providing outstanding value, the Sentry Series is our base residential unit, adaptable to both exterior and interior applications. Built using high quality components to withstand years of continuous use, this series is designed for one and two story structures. The Sentry series is available in standard configurations as well as custom configurations including pocket sliders and multiple panel sliding door units. For economy and versatility, the Sentry series is an excellent choice.

Atlas Series:

To meet demands of higher wind load construction, look to the Atlas Series. Besides using the same high quality components, this line adds extruded aluminum stiffeners - HANNERAILS - where oversized panels are required in high-rise buildings above the second floor. Available in regular configurations as well as custom configurations of pocket sliders and multiple panel sliding door units for both interior and exterior applications. The Atlas Series is popular in condominium construction and in the Caribbean region.

Titan Series:
Residential/Commercial

The Titan Series is specially designed to meet ultra high performance requirements for wind load, water and air infiltration. Using the same basic high quality component parts, the Titan Series has been reinforced with a heavy double tube 2 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" deep vertical lead stile and a 1 3/4" wide x 3 1/8" deep heavy interlock stile. A solid aluminum concealed insert stiffener in the interlock allows heights to 10'-0". This unit has been tested at 132 psf. A special surface drained track system with a 3 3/8" high back fin repels water infiltration and has been tested successfully at 10.67 psf. Other Plaza track systems have been tested to 20psf. (Specific test information available upon request). For tough, weather-proof protection in the most demanding applications, turn to the Titan Series - it is the proven performer in sliding glass door construction!

Titan VI &VII
Standard & Angular Configurations e. i. 90° & 135°

The Titan VI and VII sliding door units have all of the quality features of the other Titan sliding doors plus a unique "Traveling Corner" to allow versatile configurations that offer an uncluttered panoramic view. These configurations bring the "outside in" or the "inside out" by removing barrier walls. The door's tracks may be recessed into the floor for a smooth, elegant visual transition.

Plaza Door Company, Inc. developed these special configurations in 1991 and have been producing them continuously ever since. The Titan Series VI and VII require special engineering and are part of the home building process that incorporates special structural design considerations. It is essential that these structural needs are included in the building plans to ensure proper operation of the sliding door system.

Titan Series X & XI missile impact resistant sliding doors have been tested by Hurricane Test Laboratory, an industry recognized independent testing laboratory, to comply with requirements of governing code authorities.

Screen Door

One of the features of the Plaza Sliding Door System that separates our sliding door units from other manufacturers is our sliding screen panel. When design features of the Plaza Sliding System were being established, it was determined that the screen panel for a sliding door unit was equally important as any other part of the unit. To satisfy that decision, the Plaza screen panel has been designed with the same care as the door panel and frame components... with the same profile, including extrusion wall thickness equal to the door sections. This design assures the screen door is as sturdy and reliable as the door panel. In addition to the heavy duty extrusion used in the screen panel, the same roller and lock used on the glass door panel. Plaza screens are known for their ease of operation and durability, whether they are 3' wide x 6'8" high or 5' wide x 10" high. Screen cloth choices are also available.
